Smart Power India has chosen two priority states – Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, where electrification level is below 30% to implement the Smart Power for Rural Development (SPRD) program.

Going forward, SPI is looking to scale up and expand its operations in the states of Orissa and Jharkhand.

Furthermore, SPI is willing to support projects in other states also if ESCOs are interested and have the implementation capability.
